Dear Jenni
I'm fairly new to posting on the forum but I would like to add my concerns for your well being and hope that by now you are being properly cared for and that you will soon be on the road to recovery.
Best wishes...

Hi Jenni, what a bummer! I feel for you, I really do, having your hopes dashed time after time. I`m with Lyn on this - see the numpty SHO if your A & E is anything like ours and the transit ward which follows admission via A & E. Take care, Kathleen x

Hi Jenni, been thinking about you all day and wondering how things were. Sorry to hear you're still feeling pretty rotten and what a bummer (is that an appropriate word in the circumstances ) that there's noro virus on the ward. Hope you don't come down with that on top of everything else. I know they're very unlikely to move you out of the ward, for fear of spreading the virus, but is there a side room you can claim to try and minimise your risk of catching it? Really sorry that it means you can't have visitors as I know how much you miss your family but glad you are keeping in touch by phone. I know not much happens over the weekend so hope you're not too bored. It's good that you know some of the nurses...I'm sure theyll look after you well. Hope you get some answers on Monday and are well enough to go home asap. Btw, you most definitely are not a contender for that award...you're an absolutely fantastic mum but I know how much it hurts when you can't do the things you want to with your children, due to this disease. Hopefully Michael's appt can be rearranged? Big hugs. Hope you feel better very soon Take care Diane x

Jenni
You are not a crap Mummy, far from it. Why are you in hospital at the moment, because you are fighting to improve your life for you and your family.
I am glad you are getting good care from the nursing staff. Let's hope the rest of the medical team on Monday are as good.
Sending gentle hugs
Jackie xx

Oh you all made me smile this morning with your bummer and 'crap' comments with the virus on the ward this is v appropriate! So far God has spared me the virus I did ask about a side room tbh Diane, I'm scared about getting the trots in here not least as I might have to wear the hideous hospital gowns..;) (why oh why do they write hospital property on them? I mean who on earth would want to pinch one of them?!) Its Sunday today of course- the weekends are always the slowest in here and you don't feel anything is moving forward Although I did get a blood test yesterday which is pretty amazing attention wise There were mutterings about having a catheter in and a ct scan but I think I've got away without a catheter as although not going often I am weeing lots (tmi?!) The ct will be a renal one I guess I jet off to Florida last wk in march and I really ned wellness Oh to be well... how to be a velvet bulldoser
